Phuket Resort Workers Crash: Two Die, One Hurt

PHUKET: Two resort workers were killed in northern Phuket early today when the motorcycle they were riding with a third resort worker crashed on a remote road.

The men were travelling on a single motorcycle from the Mai Khao Dream Resort to their accommodation when the crash took place about 5.15am. None of the men were wearing helmets.


Nimid Seanor, 21, died on the road from what was believed to be a broken neck. Surapong Keawtaworn, 23, died before reaching Thalang Hospital.

The third man, Surat Intapar, 32, survived but was badly injured. Police suspect speed was a factor.

The crash occurred on a connecting road to Thepkasattri Road, not far from the Holiday Inn Mai Khao Resort.
